We have been chatting here about how people interpret things differently (cards, animal meanings, omens etc) according to person experience and personalities and reader H proposed an exercise - which has had a lot of participation and we have all been discussing our take on the 9 of Wands. . .

Hi Margaret,

Card reading for me is an intricate process. I don't know how some ppl can practice (do, read) the cards in a span of an hour or so.

When I perform (I don't like using that work when doing a card reading - so I usually use the word 'partake" and the phrase 'Liturgy of the Card Reading' followed by my 'Observance' to interpret the cards..

It usually takes me about 1 to 2 weeks as I need to feel the energy from spending 1-2 hours with the person who is seeking guidance.

On the evening on which the Liturgy of the Card Reading was Observed, I see and make notes of what cards were drawn.

During the next 2 weeks, the cards reveal themselves to me and what they mean. Taking notes and messages appear.

I will then handwrite the outcome of the Liturgy of the Card Reading on parchment paper and either mail it to the person and/or hand it to them over a cup of tea.

This is my ritual and how I usually go about reading the cards.

Important Developments

I recently listed over 250 information cards and charts for sale in a brand new section. . . and this feels like the culmination of a lot of important steps and I must admit to feeling a little bit nervous and emotional.

It started with this nice bit of feedback :

Then a friend recently advised me to value all the work I do . . . and she had suggested selling some of the charts. I laughed and said I'd been thinking the same thing - from a different angle. . . .

For the last few years I've had "write a book about my Astrolenergies ideas" on my yearly goals list - along with a few other such ambitions . . . I had also reviewed things a while back and decided to either make start on them or drop off the list for next year. So when I considered the next step in this book thing I realized that I didn't necessarily want to write a lot of words but that the "writing" I like doing at the moment is the charts we are coming up with here in the newsletter and my other information cards. . . so I had thought of compiling the charts in some sort of publication. . .

I also laughed with the memory that about 5 years ago Hayden (my late partner) suggested I do exactly this - sell the cards as products as he knew how much work I put into them - and that he always said it took me five years to adopt his good ideas. . .. (e.g. he also conceived of the Student packs years before I did!).

I guess I always did plan to do this but was thinking maybe just offering it to those that had already started a collection through buying different clubs / parcels and keep adding to their knowledge base . . . .

So has the Universe led me to do this now, at exactly the right time for this? Is this like having my first "book" in my hands . .. hot off the press . .. am I an author ? Have I presented the cards the right way to be appealing . .. ?? Will people value them enough to buy them. .. when so much free information is available? Any feedback most appreciated. . . . I could consider the idea my first draft and you my editors. . ..

OK, the first change was to make the cards $2.50 which now includes postage - otherwise people would put one in their cart and be charged a minimum of $5 shipping . . . now if people order more than the shipping charge I can pop in an extra card or two . . .

Also reagards folders, I usually give these to club members at the start of their packages - but Moon parcel people come and go, so may have missed out, as might other regular customers buying other things. If you have cards and need a folder let me know. ..

Next Seasonal Parcels : Litha Sabbat and the December Full Moon Surprise Parcel

The Litha Sabbat on December 21 and the December Full Moon are only days apart this year - so I'll do a combined parcel - which will be full of fiery festive goodness.

New - lots of fun new goodies

I've just finished putting up even more new goodies - and reinstated a few others that have come back in stock. More importantly I've been culling a whole lot that were out of date and no longer available. Our new local supplier is great but things can go out of stock quickly and not be replaced - though it does mean we get a lot of variety. . . . and quicker delivery than waiting for overseas. . . I'll also start to add some themed packs as potential gifts - the first of which is this Goddess pack above - with optional Witch Bells

The Witch Bells were created for the last full Moon parcel - and I just love the energy of these so much. I've actually hung mine on the top of the computer (rather than a doorknob) - and play with them a lot - ringing the bells to raise my energy etc. So am offering them separately for sale as well as part of the above pack . . .
